Researchers in the United States say they may have found the first evidence that the Zika virus does cause birth defects in babies. The mosquito borne virus - which is spreading rapidly in central and south America - normally only causes mild symptoms in adults. But there's growing concern that if pregnant women are infected, their babies can be born with damaged brains.
