A intelligent boy, CCTV released as fears grow for man missing after leaving work party

Fears are growing for Adrian Lynch after his wallet, phone and belt were found. The 20-year-old electrician has not been seen since he got into a taxi on the isle of Jersey shortly after midnight last Friday. Over 70 people from the police, Fire and Rescue Service, ambulance and search and rescue teams and scores of volunteers have been involved in the hunt.
The CCTV footage was obtained from a commercial building on La Grande Route de St Laurent. The short video shows a person walking past the property at 2.09am. The person is seen again at 2.17am walking back in the opposite direction. Police in Jersey say the change in direction shown on the CCTV footage reinforces the belief that Adrian was disorientated.Yesterday, police questioned motorists at roadblocks around the Merton Hotel on the island where he was last seen a week ago. Detective Superintendent Stewart Gull said: "This is really difficult as this is a human story. "Adrian is a bright young man, who is only 20 and is loved by his family. "These things have a big impact on the family, the community and even hard-nosed professionals. "It is hard to say, but if Adrian was still alive we would like to think we would have found him by now."
