Liverpool ace Daniel Sturridge buys £1million penthouse apartment - then moves in with parents

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has bought a £1million penthouse apartment, and moved in his parents.

The England ace , 25, has moved into the pad in the city centre with mum Grace and dad Michael.

A source said: “They are an incredibly close-knit family and he is very close to both his mum and dad.

“Many footballers can’t wait to get away from their parents when they come into money and fame.

“But Dan has got his feet firmly on the ground and he credits his mum and dad with a lot of his success.

“They are a very religious family and their Jamaican roots mean they believe in maintaining strong ties.”

The trio have a mortgage with Queen’s bank Coutts.

Sturridge’s three-bedroom flat, next to the River Mersey , boasts stunning views of the city and its own lift.
