CITY DON'T NEED A STRIKER
Speaking on Soccer SaturdayCharlie Nicholas thinks Man Cityare more than capable of coping without the injured Sergio Aguero, and looks at the recent results and upcoming fixtures as evidence Manuel Pellegrini does not have to dip into the market come January.
"I wonder if City have got the funds at the moment. I know their financials are starting to go in the right direction and they're getting the debt down but I don’t see them going to splash the cash for a striker," Nicholas said.
"Their next hardest game is January 10 when they go to Everton, all of the other games are winnable. They have four, including today's game, which are at home out of the next six.
"All of a sudden they're getting results without one of world’s best strikers, and this is a results business, so I don’t see them signing a striker."
